Sick

I woke up this morning with the worst sore throat I've had in years! So I went to urgent care this morning to get a strep culture and of course it came back negative, but he said that the 24 hour test may come back positive. But of course, the line I always get when I go to the doctor "it's a virus, you're just going to have let it run it's course". I just want drugs! haha. Even though I know they won't help, maybe it's just a mental thing. I swear every time I get sick, it attacks my throat first, I used to get strep all the time as a kid. So needless to say my weekend off didn't go as planned. I spent the whole day in bed either sleeping or watching movies. Hope everyone had a great Monday and are looking forward to the 4th! I can't believe this week it's July...man how time flies!
