Soaring with the Angels

On Sunday around 6:51pm my Grandpa finally was healed of all the ailments that wracked his body for so many years and soar off to heaven. It's such a sad time for all of us down here that selfishly always want him with us (even though we all know he will be), but it's such a relief that he's now in no pain. He can run and see clearly and dance! He was a man that everyone should strive to be like. He had the kindest heart that could warm up any room, and the knowledge of a text book. He knew the answer to EVERYTHING! I will still never understand how he knew so many facts and details. He was always my resource during school when I didn't know the answer to something, he was my secret weapon. He was a generous man, he never let us leave with out making sure he'd given us a full tank of gas down at the old Co-Op and always tried to slip a $20 into our hands as we left. He was a solid foundation for a family, a family that has now learned to attempt in following in his foot steps.
-Gramps, I will miss you, more than you know, but just like you danced your way into my life 24 years ago, I know one day, I'll see you again along the Santa Fe Trail :)
