Lot's to share

I know, I know, it's been a while since the last post. So here I am updating, and what better way then through pictures! July has/will be a month of weddings. Natalie's bachlorette party kicked off the 2nd weekend in July. We went out for a nice dinner in downtown, hit up a few bars and then headed back to my place for some more bachlorette fun!

My friend from, well forever, Katie got married. Her wedding was gorgeous (but when you have a couple this gorgeous of course it would be. Check out her pictures here on her blog http://simplelovemn.blogspot.com/2011/07/7811.html

Her wedding reception was the Nicollet Island Pavilion, which is where I used to office with my old company, Mintahoe. It was fun to see a bunch of my old co-workers and staff that I worked with at the wedding!

Adam and the boys fishing

We were able to make a quick trip up to Adam's grandma's trailor she has on a lake in Wisconsin and got some fishing in. We fished all day and only caught one fish (which adam caught). The dogs were the more entertaining part. Chance thought the bobber was a toy and would jump off the side of the pontoon to swim after it and try to get it...that wasn't the smartest because then he couldn't get back up into the boat, so Adam would have to left him in. Made for an amusing afternoon.

My friend Natalie's wedding is this coming weekend, so I'll be getting ready for that. I took Friday off to go get my nails done, hang out and get ready for the rehersal. I'm signing "God Bless the Broken Road" in the wedding so I've got to keep practicing that, getting a little nervous for it. Then we have a wedding in Iowa City in 3 weeks for Adams friend (he's the usher in it), then 2 more weddings this fall. Gotta love wedding season!

This last weekend was a busy one for me at work. The foundation part of Starkey had their 11th annual So the world may hear Gala to raise money to give people around the world hearing aids. It was an experience, that's for sure. I worked, Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I'm exhausted now. I was able to meet some pretty fun people though. We had Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Miley Cyrus, Kevin Costner, Meatloaf and John Rich perform at teh gala. The girls and I on the events team were in charge of the green rooms and back stage of the gala so it was fun to see all of the celebs. It was star studded at the gala and the parties the days before, with many athletes (to which I didn't recognize alot of them), Whoopi Goldberg, Gary Beausy (crazy guy, he sat down and chatted with us at the hotel on Friday night-asked me to make gutteral noises with him, while he and his girlfriend honked like geese-maybe the drugs talking?). haha anyways, it was a for a great cause and we raise 7.2 million dollars in one night! Check out the link below to see pictures from all of the events of the weekend.

Off to skype with Adam (he's in Nashville for work for the week), then it's off to bed for me for an early night, worked from 7am-2am yesterday at the Gala then worked all day at the office!

I know I know, it's been a while since the last post. So here I am updating what's been going on.
