One, Two, Three, Four

My friend Robyn and I went to Lifetime Fitness after work. She's been the queen of getting in shape lately, and since I want to drop a few pounds before Mexico, what better way to work out than to have a friend to go with! We started out doing cardio for 20 min, then went onto the weights (where I realized I have absolutely no upper body strength), then we were going to do yoga class. However, when we got to the yoga class, we thought that there was one getting over so we waited in the hallway for a while. Little did we know that was the class we were supposed to be in! They started early...so instead of looking like fools we decided to go to the class across the hall...dance jam. Whoa, intense!

Most people in there must have been dancers because they knew every step, and when we would finally get the step they'd be moving onto the next. Not to mention the music was blaring and we couldnt' really even hear what the instructor was saying. And this is why taking those classes always have made me nervous, too many people and you dont' knwo what you're doing! They need a beginners class. The girl that was doing it behind me even told me in her sassy voice to "watch out", when she almost ran into me because I hadn't gotten to the new move yet. haha!

Then we went in the sauna and just relaxed, it was great and so relaxing, I want to do it again tonight, but I have tastings tonight so I'll be working until 9 or so tonight :( Then it's another long day tomorrow!

I had a weird day yesterday because the night before I literally think I only got around a 1/2 hour of sleep. I just couldn't fall asleep, I tossed and turned, and finally at 4am decided to be productive and started cleaning my house, answering e-mails for work, etc. So I was exhausted at work, which then prompted me to just be a little depressed. I think it's the winter blues! Oh summer, how I can not wait for you to come back.

I've always really liked this quote and I think it speaks volumes now more than ever:

"Be the change you want to see in the world"-Ghandi
