And the Craziness Begins

Wedding season is upon us and in full force. I have 5 events this weekend alone. Lord, help my sanity!

I do have a funny story, only these things happen in my life.

I got an e-mail from a groom about a week ago (his wedding is at the end of May), and he wrote me a long e-mail about all the items he wanted for their bar. One ENTIRE paragraph was about how his fiance wanted the lemons and limes to be sliced that would be used as garnishes for the drinks. They had to be cut into thick wedges, approximately 4-6 slices you would get per lemon or lime, yada, yada, yada. He told me he could not stress how imporant this was to his fiance. I sat and stared, yes jaw open, and then started laughing. Seriously?!? This is what you are worried about. I think I'd be a bit more worried about the girl he's about to spend the rest of his life with that is so concerned about lemons and limes. Really people, that's not what a wedding is supposed to be focused around. So needless to say, I can tell you, no matter how they are sliced, they won't be right. It's these types of people you can never please.

So the story gets even a little better. I was drawing up his contract and I asked him for his address (I've never actually met him, we've coresponded only via e-mail and phone), and he lives in MY CONDO. Yes, is is like 4 down from me, just around the corner. I couldn't believe it. So I know I've seen him probably. haha. In a not crazy lemon and lime world, I would have told the couple that I lived there, it would make for a good conversation and they would probably then feel a little more comfortable. Not this one, I have a feeling if I told him and his specific instructions were not up to his standard on his wedding, I'd have a heap of lemons and limes being thrown at my door ;)
