Woohoo, I went out and bought the paint today as well as some new decorations from IKEA for my mini revamp re-decoration of my lower level on my condo. I really wanted to brighten up the place so I decided to get a couple colors to cover my very plain jane walls. Well, it's very hard to know what color is going to look like when all you get to see is a tiny swatch.
Abbey came over after work today, and we made another meal from the biggest loser cookbook, it was really good actually! We had gone yesterday, on our lunch break, to the farmers market downtown and I had bought some fresh asparagus, so I boiled some of that and we had that with our curry chicken pita sandwiches...yummy! Anyways, we deemed this creative project night, so while she scrapbooked, I painted. First try of paint, did not go so well. The color was NOT AT ALL what I had wanted. I'm not kidding it was hideous. Of course Abbey kept telling me to just keep painting and maybe once the whole wall was done it would look better...not the case, probably looked 10 times worse. So Abbey being the creative genius that she is, found some other paint in my storage that I had used when I moved in and we combined it with the paint I had to come up with a new color and wala......a great new color!!! So after doing 2 coats, it's about time for me to go to bed. I have 2 more walls I want to get done this weekend, in between Tuck's vet appointment tomorrow, a wedding I have to work, and getting the boat out of storage and on the water on Sunday...busy weekend ahead!

P.S. Tucker learned to sit yesterday, I'm working on stay now, but we're not doing so good on that one :(
