Well today was a busy day! I worked a 12 hour day so needless to say, I'm tired.
Matt came over and watched Tucker for a while because I had a Awards/Dinner ceremony for the City of St. Paul Riverfront Group (basically organizations and buisnesses that surround the Mississippi River), that went for about 4 hours. My company was one of the sponsors of the event so when we got there we had to check in and get our names. Now it's one of my biggest pet peeves, when people spell my name wrong. Everyone assumes it's spelled J-E-N-N-Y, but tonight I saw a whole new one. I've worked at this company for almost 2 years and I get registered under the name Ginni Ellson, well they got the "i" part right but totally screwed up the first part. So I had to walk around the whole night with a name tag that said Ginni. So I had to explain to everyone I talked to that it wasn't actually my name, we had a good laugh. Especially when it became the joke that Ginni sounded like Ginni Pig....haha I hope that nickname doesn't catch on!
