Today was a really, really long day. It's days like these, right when my first wedding is about to begin of the summer that I start to feel overwhelmed! I had so much to do at work today and didn't get any of it done due to meetings, so I sit here now at 8pm doing all the things I needed to get done earlier, now...the joys of being a salaried employee! Then I spent the majority of the afternoon at a networking event on Lake Minnetonka (drinks, appetizers, sun shining, beautiful lake...sometimes I love my job)!
I'm so proud of my Tucky.....He went the whole day without whining in his kennel and he went to the door when he needed to go out! He's soooooo good and he's only 8 weeks old :) I'm a proud mamma!
I'm getting really excited for the weekend, we're going out for my best friend, Abbey's, birthday on Friday. I made reservations for a great restaurant in downtown Minnepolis and then we are going out for drinks afterwards. There's about 15 people coming over to my house before dinner for a few appetizers...so I need to come up with a few good recipies...anyone got any good ideas??? You'd think working for a catering company I'd have all the great ideas...not the case!
By the way...apparently I don't have a green thumb...the single lonely plant I have in my house died today. RIP aloe vera plant, we had a good run. I think I'll stick to fake plants from now on.
