Roommate Search

It has been a busy week! I fele like tonight is the first day I've actually been able to sit down and breathe. I worked until about 8:30pm every night this week, which made for a long day for Tucker to be in his kennel :( I felt so bad. Luckily my good friend Robyn, volunteered to go to my house yesterday and pick Tucker up to play with her boyfriend's new puppy, Dixie! It was great, they had a great time playing, and when I went to pick him up, he was exhausted! So we both got a much needed good night's sleep.

My roommate e-mailed me that she will be moving out come July, she decided to move in with her boyfriend, so I am on the hunt for another roommate! I made a few postings on craigslist and this website my friend told me about, roommates.com, and am hoping I'll get some bites...otherwise, I may not be eating for a while (haha to pay the mortgage)! So if anyone knows of anyone needing a place...send them my way!

Since I've been home today, Tucker and I went on a walk around the neighborhood and I made another recipe from my biggest loser cookbook, the meals actually aren't that bad! I had a portobello wrap with sweet potato fries for dinner and I'm making some frozen hot chocolate for a late night snack :) I just can't give up dessert.

Apparently I haven't been paying Tuck enough attention, because as I type this he's drug my front door's rug out 3 times and started chewing it and now has made his way to the cords behind the TV. Guess I should go play with him!

With it being a busy, stressful week, I had a bit of a short fuse, I guess you could say, at points. One thing that really irritates me is drivers. There are so many people on the road that just think they own the road and cutting people off isn't a big deal. So when I was driving yesterday, there was man that needed to merge, so I decided to let him in and he actually waved at me. I can't tell you how many people just budge right in and think it's their right. It actually made my day that he waved (lame I know), but there still are some decent people out there!Looking forward to the weekend, I work a wedding on Saturday, but then I have Monday off...maybe my brother and I can attempt to get the boat out of storage and on the water :)
